Meet some winsome children during a fun and fascinating visit to a local school. In parts of rural China, village life goes on much as it has for centuries, but that has often meant that children’s futures are forgotten. To help bring education to remote villages, Viking has sponsored a much-needed elementary school here. As our guests, you will have an exclusive tour of the village and school. Upon arrival, you will receive a warm greeting from the staff, and the children will greet you with a charming performance of song. During your stay, your young hosts will share some of their lessons, and you can talk with the teachers about the local curriculum. This is a unique opportunity to participate in a project that Viking holds dear, and to meet local children and gain insight into the educational system in China’s rural areas.
