Choppers Bucket Night

Ko Tao, Thailand
We had a nice hearty breakfast at 'Green Villa' before getting our taxi transfer to the pier for the Seatran ferry to Ko Tao. We sat on the top deck and lapped up the sun. On our arrival at the pier a sign for 'Andy' indicated that our taxi arranged by 'Simple Life' divers had not let us down, so in we got ready to sign our life away. The dive centre sorted us out free accommodation and it was nice to have a clean, tiled, air-con room as opposed to a damp, smelly bungalow. The only let down was that the guesthouse was above a supermarket that sold all sorts of things, including fresh fish, so we had to fight through a swarm of flies whilst holding our breath to enter the place in comfort. We literally dumped our stuff in our room and then went to 'Choppers' bar for something to eat, but we were soon sat drinking a vodka and coke bucket! There was a live group playing so we requested a 'Kings of Leon' tune, which they played, but nobody else in the bar seemed to have our same taste in music! The rest of the night consisted of drinking SangSom at Lotus Beach Bar.
