On the rocks...

Ko Tao, Thailand
We got up and packed as we had decided to check out the south coast of Ko Tao. We shared a taxi with Alana, dropping her off at the pier whilst we continued on to Chalok Ban Kao. We got a cheap bungalow for B350 a night at a place called 'Sunshine 2' which was set just behind the beach.

We went for a walk along a concrete walkway out to sea, which led to a restaurant raised on stilts above the water . We stopped for a cold drink before continuing around the headland which led us to a quiet cove with huge rocks dotted along the shoreline. We spent a few hours sunbathing on the rocks before returning to our restaurant where we spent the rest of the afternoon playing cards, drinking Chang and looking out to sea.

We had a tasty BBQ meal before we walked along the beach in the dark. We had to avoid a number of rope lines as there were longtail boats anchored in the bay, but Andrew found the task a little difficult after the amount of Chang he had drunk!
