I was woken up again at 6am as the nurse needed to pour drops into my ear to loosen the blockage of wax that the doctor said could be removed later. I was looking forward to breakfast as yesterday I had a chocolate muffin, which had made my day! However,today all I got was warm bread.

The doctor said I was well enough to leave the hospital along with a ten day course of antibiotics. The long wait then began for the insurance company to guarantee the payment of the B93,000 hospital bill. We finally checked out of the hospital at around 8pm and started walking towards Chaweng, but it was a bit too far so we jumped in a songthaew. We had to go to a travel agency as I couldn't face walking around looking for a room. They booked us into a room just around the corner, but it turned out to be hell!
