Our return to Bangkok...

Bangkok, Thailand
We had Frosties for breakfast on our veranda before catching a taxi to Mae Had pier. We sat on the top deck of the Lomprayah catamaran as the sea was fairly calm. We arrived at Chumphon where it was baking hot as we waited for our connecting bus to Bangkok. I had my debut of the computer game 'Angry Birds' on the bus and I came to realise why it is so addictive, but also frustrating. At the service station our last B35 only allowed us to buy one bag of sweets, so we debated for ages over our choice. In the end we went for a bag of soft, red fruity sweets which I couldn't wait to open as they were the first sweets we had purchased on our trip. They turned out to be a mix of chilli and vomit! They literally burned your mouth out so as you can imagine I was devastated.

We finally arrived at Bangkok and checked into the 'Four Sons Inn' on the quieter Rambhuttri Road . We got ourselves a Pad Thai from a street food vendor then went to our usual bar for a shake. We had been travelling all day so headed off to bed, but it was not quite a peaceful night. Andrew started snoring immediately and I had to put up with someone trying to get into our room then ringing our phone.
