Alphabet Game!

Koh Mak, Thailand
We had our usual coffee morning on our veranda followed by our usual warm bread and jam. We then had a slow walk, via the road for once, to the pier at the end of the beach and then back along the beach to a quiet spot. It was definitely the hottest day yet on the island, so we were in and out of the sea every ten minutes or so. We headed back to our restaurant to eat cheaply again and it was another good choice for me, a 'Sweet Green Curry' which was rice rather than soup. One day Andrew will pick an awesome dish!

We decided to take the kayak out to sea, which looked like it hadn't been used in a while! The sea was actually really shallow and rocky and the sea floor was covered in long-spined black sea urchins, or merchants as Sam would say! We spent our time floating around at sea playing the Alphabet Game, where the topics ranged from non-mixed alcoholic drinks to places in England . I'm in Norwich! I got stumped on 'U' for a non-alcoholic drink, so my best answer was Uruguay! I couldn't help but say any word beginning with my letter! We returned to shore and got ready to go out for a drink and something to eat, but the electricity went off across the island, so we just headed back to our bungalow. We sat in our restaurant and played cards for most of the night with the Alphabet Game thrown in again for good measure. This time the topics were female solo singers then male solo singers and finally bands. Andrew pulled one right out of the bag for a 'H' solo male singer - H for H!!! Andrew lost the Chang lottery for once...
