Chiang Mai, Thailand
I was a little bit tired as I didn't go to sleep until after 3am, as I was too excited and couldn't put down the phone! We went for breakfast and then just spent the rest of the day chilling out, appreciating our luxury surroundings and the comfort. I fell asleep for a few hours whilst Andrew spent his time attempting to make music on some computer programme. However, I don't think he was successful as I have yet to hear a single tune. We got a free BBQ in the hotel restaurant.

I yet again started to feel as if something was burning my throat and my chest really hurt, so off we went to the hospital, but not the McCormick Hospital! We asked at reception which hospital was the best and we were told the Chiang Mai Ram Hospital, so we got a Tuk Tuk there and asked to see a doctor. The doctor entered the room with a 'Medical Diagnosis Pocket Guide' which wasn't exactly reassuring. He basically had no idea, but because I had shown him the medication I had been prescribed whilst in Bangkok-Trat Hospital he concluded that I just needed a repeat prescription! The hospital bill was a joke in light of the fact that the doctor made no attempt to consider an alternative diagnosis. I was prescribed the same medication I had been given in Bangkok-Trat Hospital along with a bottle of Gaviscon! I left feeling rather deflated as I was certain Gaviscon was not the answer! We stopped off at McDonald's on the way back to our hotel for some nice salty fries...
