We got up and got ready before eating the usual egg breakfast at our restaurant. We drove to 'Blue Sky Resort' to use the internet to find a place to stay in Phuket. The cheap place we wanted to stay at in the 'Old Town' was fully booked but we found somewhere else that was run by the same people, called 'Old Town Hostel' so at least we are in the nicer end of Phuket. We picked up some bread rolls for lunch and then spent most of the day chilling on our veranda. We headed back into the village to buy some coke as we fancied a SangSom. We went for our famous Massaman Curry just before sunset and we both agreed it was the best thing we had eaten so far in Thailand by a long way! We watched the sunset then it was film time before bed. As we were lying in bed we heard thunder and for once saw lightning. Then came the rain downpour and a giant insect, which looked like a cockroach, jumped for cover through our open window. It was so ugly, with really long brown antennae, it made my skin crawl and the worst thing was it was so stupid it couldn't get out so instead it kept flying and bashing into each and every wall!
