Mangrove Day

Ko Phayam, Ranong, Thailand
We woke up at 7:30am for some strange reason so got ready and had breakfast at our restaurant. We noticed it was high tide so decided to go to the other side of the bay to sunbathe on the fine white sand. It was a perfect day with not a single cloud in the sky. I saw something move quite quickly on the sand in front of me and it was a hermit crab. Andrew decided to walk along to the mangroves at the end of the beach and I followed a little later as it was too hot to just lie in the sun. The sand was untouched so I decided to collect some shells and write "Happy 50th Dad' so I could take a photo and make it into a birthday card. We returned to our bungalow and sat on our veranda in the shade for a while. We were a little hungry so went for a snack at our restaurant, before driving around the island to take photos of the scenery. We returned in time to have a Chang whilst watching the sunset.
