Trat, Thailand
I had my final 6am blood test and urine test and the results were both normal, so the doctor said I could check out of the hospital. We started the painfully long proceedings with our 'Insurance Company' but we certainly went expecting to be able to leave today. There was a knock at the door and a lady dressed in traditional Chinese clothing entered along with a photographer. She gave me a packet containing two mandarin oranges, which are a typical gift exchanged during Chinese New Year as a sign of Good Luck! I then had to pose for a photograph. We did a lot of waiting around for nothing as it got to 6pm and the hospital still hadn't received any correspondence from our 'Insurance Company' so they said we could stay the night free of charge.
