We got up and went to a little cafe for brunch before going in search of an ATM. We bought a Laos Lonely Planet guidebook as it was fairly cheap and then tried to book a ferry ticket to Pulau Langkawi but there were none available as it was a Public Holiday the next day. So instead we had to book a minibus to cross back to the mainland and drive up the coast to Kuala Kedah where we could get a ferry. It cost us a bit more but we had no other choice in the end. We then spent the rest of the afternoon chilling in our room as Andrew didn't manage to get to sleep until after 5am. We waited in anticipation for the 'Royal Wedding' to begin and had the page open on YouTube well in advance! Andrew got bored of the hymns half way through the service so stopped watching, whilst also telling me what I could and couldn't have at our wedding! I simply told him to shut up! We went to Little India for something to eat before packing our backpack for a 9am start in the morning.
