We woke up after a decent sleep but Andrew didn't feel too great and was aching all over. We went downstairs to get our laundry done but they charged by the item and not the kilo. We decided we would look for a different place later so we just ordered breakfast. The breakfast was quite substantial considering it was included in the price of the accommodation. We got a spring onion omelette, two slices of toast with jam and butter, a small fruit platter and a tea or fresh Balinese coffee. Andrew didn't have much of an appetite but he managed to eat something before he visited the toilet. He had a bad case of diarrhoea so we came to think we had both caught a bug whilst staying at Bale Kampung on Lombok. He didn't dare go out so we sat and watched Shawshank Redemption to see if he got any better. 
 
Andrew thought he was capable of leaving the room for a while so we both got ready and had a walk along the main street in search of a laundrette. We soon saw a sign but the member of staff showed us a price list per item but we said we were wanting to pay by the kilo. She took our laundry bag and then asked us how heavy it was so Andrew just said four kilo, though it was more like ten kilo! She asked if we would pay for five, but Andrew stuck to four kilo. She agreed and charged us 20,000 rupiah per kilo but on the ticket she wrote 70,000 and whispered that she would take the remaining 10,000 for herself. She even told us to be quiet as her boss was out the back of the shop! We then walked to the extremely popular 'Little Bird' warung and managed to get a table. The kitchen was open plan situated on the back wall so that you could see the food being cooked by two young Indonesian chefs that were very calm whilst cooking. It was also reasonably priced considering the portion size. I ordered a chicken dish and got big chunks of chicken whilst Andrew enjoyed a very flavoursome noodle soup. He did struggle a bit to finish the thing as his stomach started to play up. We returned to our room so that he could be within close proximity to a toilet! I also started to get stomach cramps and so we both spent the rest of the day lying in bed.
