We woke up and felt extremely refreshed after an unbroken sleep in a nice comfortable bed. It was quite nice to snuggle underneath a duvet as we had the luxury of air conditioning and a fast spinning ceiling fan. We also really appreciated being able to have a hot shower. Once we were ready we walked to McDonald's but we weren't all that happy with the quality of the Big Mac meal! Andrew was convinced he could smell bleach on his drink carton and I did think that the coke didn't taste quite right, so he refused to drink it. We returned to our cozy room to continue planning our New Zealand itinerary. We took full advantage of the hot shower again before we went out for something to eat. We called into 'Circle K' to use a cash point but it ripped us off and didn't spit out 20,000 rupiah. We were more than a little annoyed as we only needed that exact amount for the rest of our time in Indonesia, but we simply had to use a different machine to withdraw it. We went to 'The Ducks Nutz' again even though the food the previous night wasn't great as Andrew desperately wanted another steak burger. However, this time it wasn't cooked as well and my fish and chips were just average so it seemed that there was a fair bit of inconsistency.
