We both woke up feeling less than great so we stayed in bed until around 1pm. We then got ready and drove into Thongsala, stopping at 'Nira's Home Bakery' for something to eat. We were also tempted by the cake stand so Andrew got a huge piece of chocolate cake and I got a piece of carrot cake to take away. We drove back to our bungalow and chilled out by the pool. We went to eat at 'The Best Cafe' in Haad Yao, which was a nice little restaurant by the road side. However, on the way we had to swerve as a dog was standing in the middle of the road barking away at another dog before they ran over to fight each other. We returned to our bungalow and sat on our veranda for the rest of the evening. A large flying cockroach paid us a visit but all of a sudden a bat swooped under our bungalow roof and flew away crunching the thing!
