Ko Phangan, Thailand
I woke up at around 2am scratching my back as it was ridiculously itchy. I ended up getting out of bed and looking at all of the bites that covered my back and bottom! I made Andrew search for my sleeping bag liner as I flicked the blood-sucking culprit off my leg. I found it difficult to get back to sleep especially since the rain splashing around outside meant that every frog on Ko Phangan was ribbiting away. I woke up at 9:30am and felt as though I had been in bed forever so I immediately got up and went to sit in the hammock. We went to eat breakfast at our restaurant before driving to the Lomprayah office in Thongsala. It cost the same amount of money to get to Bangkok as it did Hua Hin, so we decided to skip out Hua Hin since we hadn't done a good job of budgeting our money on Ko Phangan. We booked our ticket and then called off at Tesco Lotus before driving back to our bungalow. The weather turned out nice and so I lay and sunbathed by the pool for most of the day. We felt hungry so for the first time in a while we ate in the middle of the day. We then got talking to an English couple in the pool. The sun started to set so we got out of the pool and made our way over to the restaurant. It wasn't long before it started raining alongside thunder and lightning.
