Our last night...

Ko Phangan, Thailand
We got up and headed straight to our restaurant for breakfast where I ordered my final banana pancake. I arranged a taxi for the following morning to pick us up at 7:15am which we were certainly going to find difficult as we hadn't needed to use an alarm for a long time. We returned to the pool side and spent the rest of the day making the most of our last day in the sun. I finished my book by the afternoon as I literally couldn't stop reading it until I knew the outcome. Andrew observed the three-legged dog that had become a part of 'Lucky Resort' chase after a rather large monitor lizard that had the sense to climb up a tree and remain there until the dog got bored. We began to feel hungry so we drove to Thongsala but there weren't many food stalls at the 'Night Market' so we started driving back but stopped at 'Big Mountain' restaurant for a tasty curry. The sun was just setting as he reached our bungalow. Andrew had the job of packing his backpack whilst I lay in the hammock as I had packed mine the previous night. We felt rather sad knowing that it was our final night on Ko Phangan as it had become our home.
