Skyline & Luge

Queenstown, Otago, New Zealand
We didn't get out of bed until around 12:30pm but once we were ready we went to start our day at 'Fergburger'. It was such a warm, sunny day that we sat on a bench to eat, but Alex wasn't the least impressed with her burger and widely voiced her opinion! We made our way to the 'Skyline' which was located at 'Bob's Peak' at a total height of 790m above sea level. I was unable to luge so I went and had a hot chocolate in the cafe whilst everyone else made their way to the chair lift. I saw Andrew looking around for me as I waved vigorously through the window each time he went up on the chair lift, but he didn't spot me once. The crew had a lot of fun luging as I nursed my broken wrist. Once they had completed six luges they returned so we all went to admire the vista, spread out in a spectacular 220 degree panorama. We got a gondola back to ground level and called at a supermarket before making our way back to YHA. We chilled out for a while before Shane began making us all something to eat. We then sat down to watch Ricky Gervais for the rest of the night.
