Black Cast

Blenheim, South Island, New Zealand
We had a very lazy morning before walking to the 'Wairau Hospital' which seemed to take such a long time. I was first given an x-ray to check that my wrist was still in a good position. The doctor was happy with it and so he sent me to the plaster room to get a new cast. He told me I would be fine to fly and wrote me a letter, but my new cast had to be split and then taped together in case my arm began to swell during the flight. I decided on a black coloured cast, rather than bright green this time. but it was taped together with a plaster so it didn't really look any more inconspicuous. I didn'y have to pay for any of the treatment so we left the hospital and began the walk back. We called at 'New World' supermarket and then chilled out for the rest of the day.
