Our alarm began to beep at 9am and so we got up and got a shower when it eventually became vacant. The bathroom was pretty smelly and damp so I didn't spend long in the shower unlike Andrew who spent more time than me getting ready! We had a muffin for breakfast but neither of us could finish the thing as we felt sick. We stored our backpack in a luggage room before walking to the nearest ATM. It was another sunny day so on our return we sat in the garden of the hostel to wait for our shuttle to Christchurch airport. It turned up a little early so we arrived three hours before our flight time. However, our check-in desk was open so it turned out fine. The member of staff questioned why I had booked myself under the title of Mr. and then made out that it was an issue yet nothing needed changing so it was a big deal over nothing. Andrew insisted on going to Burger King whilst I bought a sandwich. However, as Andrew sat eating a Whopper I also wanted one so I saved the sandwich for the flight. We made our way to the departure lounge and had a Steinlager beer before boarding our flight. Andrew made us swap to a window seat which meant there was a spare seat in our row, so just enough space for me to lie down and go to sleep. I bought a hot Milo which ended up pouring down my leg as the person sat in front of me jumped back in the seat spilling the cup. I was far from impressed as it burnt my leg. I attempted to go to sleep but struggled somewhat, probably because I had drank two cans of coke. We arrived at Kuala Lumpur and had to wait an age for our backpack to show up on the conveyor belt. We were so tired so we quickly walked to the 'Tune Hotel' but to our dismay there was a large queue at the check-in desk. The place was a nightmare as people jumped the queue and the staff were terribly slow at everything. We managed to get our room key and made our way to bed. Our room was directly opposite the lift so it was a little noisy but we were soon fast asleep.
