Much easier hike today. 11 miles (18km) from Camp to Annascaul. Wide open spaces. Walked for 4 hours and didn't see any other hikers on the trail. We've been surprised by the lack of hiker on this part of the trail. Are we that different (crazy) to be doing this hike. Got into town of Annascaul and spent two pints visiting with Maura and Tomas at the Hanifinn's Pub. Went back later this evening to watch the Rose of Tralee Beauty Pageant on the TV.
