Barcelona for six days. One of my favorite EU cities. The Gaudi buildings alone are worth a visit. His Sagranda Familia is the greatest cathedral I have ever visited (and we have seen many in Europe). His La Pedrera (rock quarry) was the inspiration for George Lucas and his Star Wars films. I can see Java the Hut in the La Pedrera.

The public and museum art is vast and varied in this town . In addition to Gaudi there is major works by Picasso, Dali, Miro and a whole lot more. Gaudi even design the street tiles that make up the sidewalks all over the city. Around every corner there is another master work on public display.

We went to a football (soccer) match. Considering how the Bears and Lions have been doing these past couple of years, my new favorite team might be the "Barce" , Barcelona beat Granada 3-0.
