Oman: Wonderful Visit with Michelle and Randy

Muscat, Muscat, Oman

What a wonderful time we had with Michelle and Randy in Muscat, Oman. Our days were filled with museum visits, shopping in various souks (markets), dinners at a different ethnic resturant (Indian, Turkish, Omani and even British) most every night. When we didn't go out there was American style burgers and steaks. I even had a milkshake from Coldstone and fries from McDonalds. Duuuuuke (Duke) their yellow Lab was a joy!

Many Fabulous Dinners

. My first dive in saltwater. Looking forward to more dives in Vietnam and Australia. One of the highlights of this stop was going to see Yoyo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble at the Muscat Opera House. It was a wonderful melding of music and voices from East and West. There were several musical instruments played that I had never seen before.

The best part of the visit was just taking more than a week to just chill out with Michelle and Randy. We really had the best of times. They were the perfect hosts!
