We flew home today through Denver. The flights were both fine. We left Lexington a couple minutes early which was nice. We had only a 40-minute layover in Denver that we did not notice when we booked the trip. That is too short, in my opinion, but they sell them with short layovers all the time. Today, we arrived at Denver and had to walk by about 40 gates to get from our arrival gate to our departure gate. People were lined up waiting for boarding when we finally got to the gate. Boarding started just a few minutes later. That, I suppose, is perfect timing, but it made me stress a bit worrying that the flight from Lexington could easily be a few minutes late making us miss the connection. Glad we made it okay.
This was a short trip (991 miles on the rental car in a week) that we planned at almost the last minute. We booked the flights and hotels less than a week before traveling, but the prices did not seem too much higher than usual.

Good weather for most of the trip after seeing lots of thunderstorms and tornadoes in the area last week
