Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada
Bought an explorer ticket from Parks Canada as this gave us the opportunity of several things to do. The boat trip, walk under the falls, Rapids, 360 experience.
The boat running from the Canadian side are huge taking 100's of people to the foot of the falls. We are all given a pac-a-mac very fetching colours. First you pull along side the American Falls which are surprising with the amount of rock debris at the bottom roar of the water is deafening. Then over to Horseshoe falls which you sail right into the mist.
These were incredible as the boat turns to give you a better view so the waves of spray consumes the boat and all of us.
Soaking everything nothing escapes.

Did the boat trip twice awesome, the noise and the power of the water is amazing.

We followed this up with the walk under falls, which is along man made tunnels out on to a platform almost touching distance from the falls. You can feel the force of the water.

Next our picnic up on the bank-side I think I have convinced Tom that subway is good value and we don't have to save part of our breakfast everyday. Tom sits on the wall at the top of the falls watching the world go by until shouting shatters the peace, "Get off the wall Sir yes that means you on the wall!". Ooops

Even the rapid walk is incredible they are so dangerous that they are the highest category in North America. Permission is needed from both the USA and Canadian authorities to cross the falls or the rapids which has been rarely granted. The boardwalk runs along side them for about a mile which gives a great prospective on how fast the river flows

Finished a great day with a meal in the rotating restaurant overlooking Niagara and the setting sun. Awesome.....
