While Peter and Deirdre left early to work on the farm we eventually got up. My legs had completely seized up from the run I could hardy walk

Changed the oil which in the heat and my legs took me most of the morning, one of the sump guard rubbers had split so had to be glued until it could be replaced.
Some of the bolts were a bit mangled and were replaced with stainless steel versions from Peters vast selection of fasteners all sorted in little plastic draws. I will have a workshop like his when I get home. ( this started a collection of I'm going to have one of them? when I get home)

Peter cooked up an amazing vegetable curry while explaining the finer points of making a fender stratocaster. Deidre keeping him focused on the task.

In the evening we were invited (gate crashed) a wine tasting evening with P&Ds mates who make local wine. A great evening, we were made really welcome and included. I drank a little too much as usual.

Peter & Deirdre if you ever get to read this blog, thank you for a wonderful 3 days it was great to see you both again. We will be back.
