Road conditions busy round Boulder traffic into Denver I70 really bad glad we are going the other way
Left Lyons mid morning to pick up one of the scenic drives making our way to Durango.






Arrived Aspen in thunder storm heavy rain soaking again. Possibly the most expensive place to stay in the Rockies. Tried one place dripping water everywhere in their lobby it was a bit, no very expensive think they put the price up when they heard we were looking for a room.
Found somewhere eventually they made me feel like it was a deal so that was good.
dinner was in the Irish pub Tom had fish and chips again (wished I started counting how times he has F&C)
