Advantage of staying so near today there is not so far to go. We have a very late start the weather is glorious. We take a steady ride back into Yellowstone.. This time we head straight to old faithful check in early at the lodge. 2nd advantage is a choice of room. Would we like a 3rd floor room directly in front of Old Faithful "yes please".  
 
The rest of the day was spent eating ice cream walking around the geysers and generally chilling out perfect. Oh it rained again but it always does.
 
The geyser hike is great if you are lucky and time it right many of the geysers will perform in front of you. 
   

    



We sat and waited for Old Faithful which is just as spectacular night or day.
 
  It is very special to hear it go off in the middle of the night and then see that it is lit by the moon.
