First bear spot

Stewart, British Columbia, Canada
Heading towards Stewart took the trail
before Smithers which comes out at Morristown and spotted our first black bear,
she had 2 cubs up a tree and we spent 30 minutes watching. Malcolm buggered off and I thought he had missed it but he had been following the mother.

Watched the guys catching Salmon at the rapids before pushing on to Hazelton where we stopped for coffee and found a girl who didn't know how to boil a kettle. Unbelievable, My comment of " if you want to find a husband you better learn to boil a kettle " was not well recieved so we left.

After two prior attempts in previous visits we eventually found the totem poles, questionable if it's worth the 15 mile detour. Ticked of the list anyway.

Final ride down to Stewart was in the rain and mist but still a fantastic ride.

Stayed at Ripley Creek, great hotel now serving breakfasts in the toaster museum.
