Alder Lake, Washington, United States
We tracked down a REI shop and 1200 bucks later came out fully kitted up with tent, bags chairs, pillows and airbeds. We strapped it all on the bike and headed for a camp site for a true adventure motorcycling experience.

Driving along Alder Lake was saw a sign for campsite by the lake with a cafe near by, perfect.
After some debate finally selected a quite site away from everyone, we thought.

We pitched the tent went in search of food which proved a challenge. The cafe Tom had seen was a small shop with no real provisions. When he challenged the shop assistant as to where was the cafe she said ohh its not been here for years and I haven't bothered to remove the sign. Great!!!
We ended up with a couple of warm sandwiches bottle of wine and some fire wood. Struggling to carry it all back we were given a lift on the tail gate of a truck going into the site. Brilliant.

Then we noticed our lovely quite pitch was now surrounded 2 families with a million kids who had never camped before and were so exited it was unreal. So much for a quiet night.
