Getting out of SF s always a challenge traffic etc we add to it today by going to a bike shop right next to the Bay bridge we are hoping they have Klim gear as I need a new jacket trousers gloves. About the only thing not leaking are my boots. Scuderia is a great shop really helpful, we had many questions and requests.

New jacket and Kreiga day bag purchased Thank you Tom, old jacket donated to a worthy biker somewhere in the bay area we are on our way to Yosemite. All this helped as well to the weight conservation as I think my new jacket is half the weight of the old one. That must be worth something in the future????

 
Could not believe the area around the entrance to the park mile upon mile has been burnt. The motel we are staying in was thankfully saved but 100 yards of the entrance has been completely destroyed. 
The Rim fire as it is known was started by a hunter illegally, he was eventually jailed.
