Twentynine Palms, California, United States
Left Sedona morning hot already, we climb out of the valley up to Jerome
an old mining town once called the wickedest place in the west and now it is becoming "shabbily chic ."
Once up you have to come down this route does so very quickly winding switch backs.

A very hot ride across the desert we cross the Colorado again still flowing although it does not make the sea.
we arrived at BW in Twenty Nine Palms late afternoon a bit further out of town than we realised so had to get a taxi back into town for a meal at 29 Palm Inn this looked a pretty neat place to stay.
