La Jola

La Jolla, California, United States
The ride from Joshua Tree was a hot one the park had proved more interesting than either of us has thought. Views of the San Andreas fault line and Palm Springs. We learnt the difference between a Yucca and a Joshua Tree you never know when this may be important.

Palm Springs was hot we needed a break and we found a Starbucks mint frapaccino for Tom
Now the world needs allsorts and Palm Springs seems to have its share but really a buggy to take your dog for a walk in .
On the way out we were hooted at a lot we just waved. Until someone stopped us at the lights to tells us we had dropped something. Ohhh my bag had come undone worse it had my shoes in it. I thought this was Tom's cunning plan to lose some more weight.
Any how a guy said it was just back by the lights, I walked Tom turned round and rode ended up about a mile back down the road. By the time Tom reached it had been run over numerous times the bag was shredded. He collected my trainers and sandals from various parts of the road and came back to find me. Amazingly apart from a few tyre marks and a missing insole everything was in tack. Shame I could on gone shoe shopping in Palm Springs.

We made it to La Joya hot and a bit frazzled.

Day 2 in La Joya whilst we wait for Lindsay and Marion to arrive we have a list of chores
