At last a decent coffee

Durango, Durango, Mexico
Great Breakfast while watching Rossi qualify 6th for Aragon.

Lindsay's tyre seems to have sealed at last, so with orange stained gear and bikes with slightly wonky panniers we headed down the highways to Durango.
We chose the toll road to make up some time (and our confidence as adventure motorcyclists had taken a knock, and we needed a easy day ) as we intended to stay west of Durango after a ride through the town.

Arriving in the centre of Durango we parked in the town square and walked over to a bar come coffee shop for a drink.

Durango seemed a great place so we all thought it would be good to look around. Town seemed to be getting ready for a celebration of some sort so there was a bit of a buzz. We went to look for a hotel, one recommended by the coffee shop only had one room left they offered we could all share we declined and went next door. They showed us a room on the roof which was still being cleaned it was a bit tired but ok. Not keen we walk back to the guys and see Hotel Casablanca the receptionist was great showed us 2 rooms which were ideal. They had secure parking so we were in. Keen to get out of our bike gear which is several layers too thick in the heat we agree to meet later for a wander round.

The main square has a pedestrian area Calle Constuction running down one side which runs for a couple of blocks. All along is a mix of boutique, bars and coffee shops. They were all preparing for something as some even had a stage and chairs set up ready and waiting.

Unable to find something to eat we return to our hotel only to find it has a small restaurant.
Steak and chips all round.
