Bites & Stings

San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico
Unfortunately the bites Tracy got yesterday had reacted and blistered, the ones I got just bloody itched.
A wrong turn in La Barca had the gps directing us through the centre of town on market day, with the one way streets causing further confusion we finally existed the town on a mud trail.

The girls got off not wanting a repeat of the last mud trail. A rouge cow nearly ran into me but after some slipping and sliding got to the end of the road and waited for the girls to catch up.

Back on the road just got going and bee hit me square between the eyes and stung me for his trouble. My wife (in sickness and in health) declined to pull out the sting in case she was stung, finally Lindsay pulled it out.
Just to further delay the journey we ran into a farmers protest blocking all lanes of the road and when engines and patience overheated we drove down the hard shoulder and got in front of the slow rolling protest.

Finally made San Miguel de Allende after riding up and down the cobbled streets decided on a hotel just prior to a huge thunderstorm and monsoon downpour.
