Danli, El Paraiso, Honduras
After repacking the tools and pump in the panniers and ditching the tool box we headed for the capital of Honduras Tegucigalpa. Tracy and Lindsay had read reviews saying how dangerous it was so we pushed on to Danli through a downpour.

After the usual process, and asking in a coffee shop for some advise, we drove into hotel courtyard with old bikes all around, including BSA Bantam. Hotel Esperanza
Recommend a restaurant actually the only place in town to eat, El lobo Hambre Hungry Wolf arrived to find the guy Billy was just closing. His wife not impressed that he offered us burger and chips to go as she had to wait. Very friendly guy originally from a South Carolina. We were very appreciative and it was a great burger.
We carried it back to hotel and ate it on the patio as the guard casually walked by with his pump action shotgun on his shoulder.
Petrol stations Banks, hotels even some shops have guys around with pump action shotguns. Strange when every person we have met has tried to help us and been really friendly.
