Puerto López, Manabí, Ecuador
No sign of any major tourist resorts, we had found a small hotel with a couple of bungalows a little away from the town but right on the beach.
In the morning over breakfast we watched the local fishermen bring their catch in.
The Pelicans and Frigates fighting for the scraps we could have watched this for hours. We went for a walk round the bay, it was much further than it looked or we are getting very un fit.
We walked up to the pier and look for turtles and watch the pelicans diving for fish, it an amazing sight
Im really liking pelicans.
Planning for the rest of the trip later where will we go Marion flipped out over something on the schedule and timescale, we all have our own view of this trip so sometimes we have to discuss and adapt, compromise, usually better done over a beer. We have been travelling together for a couple of months so we are doing ok.
