From Nazca to Chalhuenca, amazing ride with blue sky's. Passed the tallest sand due in the world Cerro Blanco more impressive than the Nazca lines.

Cerro Blanco, 14km east of Nazca, is the highest sand dune in the world: 2078m above sea level and 1176m from base to summit, that’s higher than the tallest mountain in England.

The road skirts round the dune climbing steadily higher we have to overtake trucks which are barely moving due to the gradient. Contrast of the blue sky and coloured rocks was beautiful.
We ride across the plateau Pampas Galeras Reserve, at the top of the pass was bloody cold but the view was fantastic. The park was created to protect endangered Vicuna which it appears to have done very well as they were everywhere. Along with Guanaco and Alpacas all live wild in the pampas.
