So far Peru has been the best country we have visited, like all do not judge on the first entry as all border towns are pretty shabby.
Left Puno on the 3 heading to Copacabana, border crossing was really straight forward total time two hours. We know the procedure now ( exit stamp passport, exist stamp bike, entry stamp passport, temporary import doc bike ) so it's mainly identifying the right building. No charges and fairly friendly officials.

s usual hit rain shower crossing plains but got to Copacabana and hotel ok but cold.
right by the lake we wandered into town to get cash , bolivars , and a huge bag of nuts to sustain us though the next few days.
Watched lighting storm cross the lake.
