Quevedo, Ecuador
Left Quito along the Pan American South now we are in the southern hemisphere another milestone on our journey. we soon encountered traffic problems and the rain. The road was completely blocked and even travelling up the hard should was difficult and did not get us very far.

My hope to see the Cotopaxi Volcano were also diminishing as the weather was yet again horrible. I didn't think it rained in South America we have had more than our fair share. `we climb higher through the mountain on what appears a new multi lane high way we reach over 13000 feet the mountain itself is 19000ft+.

It is wet and cold. At Lacacunga we turn off for the coast the scenery soon changes along with the temperature.

Arriving at Quevedo it is the normal chaos of a big town however this one is not as tidy as Quito. No road signs or clues as to where we are to go. We know the hotel is on the river but there seems to be several bridges and rivers. The GPS is useless again and we are guessing where we are going, after numerous people helping we surrender and in a ask a taxi to take us there.

Parking the bike was a little tricky Lindsay did it with ease but of course I bloody dropped it and of course Tracy was photographing it.
That put me once again in the lead 3 drops to 2.
