Narooma, New South Wales, Australia
Lovely ride along the coast through small towns. Cooler day today.
We stop for a drink and a sandwich in Kiama. Small place with marina and golden sand beaches. Blowhole point has a great view point if you are lucky a blowhole that can spurt water 60m into the air. Nothing doing when we were there not even a hint. We get talking to a few people while we were deciding what to do. You must go to Tassie or don't miss the Great Ocean road then what about Kangaroo valley. We could be here a year and still not see it all. Kangaroo valley turning is a mile or so back so why not.

Unbelievably picturesque Kangaroo Valley is pegged in by a fortress of rainforest-covered cliffs and the valley floor is carpeted by pas- turelands, river gums and gurgling creeks. The slow country town of Kangaroo Valley itself has an excellent pub, a bakery and a general store, plus the odd feel-good shop and gallery to satiate wealthy Sydneysiders who populate the town at the weekend.

Ride up into the hills Kangaroo valley is extremely picturesque rain forest covers steep cliffs which then runs down to farm land. The scenic byway takes you down an almost shear drop road with the occasional bend to keep you in the valley. Finally we make the bottom and run along the river back to the coast near Jervis Bay. Past Bateman Bay and Nowra all look beautiful beaches if slightly a bit warmer.

We arrive in Narooma find our motel which is perched up on the headland over looking the Wagonga river inlet. Again only a small place does not look like a lot goes on. Seems to be visited a lot by retirees !!.....
