Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia
Mataranka homestead has access to its own hot springs and have created a pool area amongst the palms and mangrove. We went for a dip before breakfast really pleasant surprising fast running stream. In the river there was supposed to be crocs but ŵe didn't see any.
Breakfast in the camp bar was a slow affair but a great bacon and egg sandwich.

Heading off to Darwin everywhere is very green and lush so there must have been a bit of rain recently it did get a bit dark from time to time the shade was welcome relief as it was a hot ride.

We stopped briefly in Katherine which looked an ok town still has a lot of locals just hanging around sitting amongst the trees in the shade on the central reservation on the way into town.

Road to Darwin you pass through homesteads and cattle stations all in varying state of repair. Some have old rusting trucks left from a bygone age. Also it has a number of parks very close by we decide to visit these on the way back down.

Eventually reached our destination, Darwin. After the usual buggering about we finally checked into a good hotel, Hilton. for a few days rest.
