Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada
After a needed good nights sleep we headed to Jasper National Park. After driving for a couple hours we started pulling off to some scenic overviews. We saw two beautiful and powerful waterfalls before starting on the scenic Edith Cavell Road. The road showed us many views of Edith Cavell Mountain and ended in a parking lot with a beautiful uphill walk to view the glaciers and glacial lake of Edith Cavell Mountain. E.C. Mountain was named after a WWI nurse who served her country(Belgium) and the allies by saving many lives until finally sacrificing her own to the Germans by fiering squad. It is the tallest mountain in the Canadian Rockies. We spent a couple hours here enjoying the beauty then drove to the town of Jasper where we will spend the next couple nights.

Hi Stragers! Are you ready to come home yet? Seems like you've been gone forever! We are getting ready for our garage sale this weekend. Did you hear about all the flooding that happened around here last weekend? Our church basement had 4 inches of water which caused a ton of damage. Many of my friends had water in their basements. It was pretty bad. Anyway, sounds like you are still having a wonderful time! See you soon! -Beth

Beth-I talked to Mom & Dad the other day and told them about the flooding at Elmhurst CRC, so they have heard of all the rain, we didn't get it near as bad down here as you guys did up there it seems.
