Well this is our last day at sea. We slept in and had a late breakfast. The weather was sunny and getting warmer. We had to pack all our luggage and get it ready to be picked up by 10:00 p.m. which in our case meant it had to be ready by 6:00 as we wanted to take in a couple of shows as well as have dinner. We went to a show which featured the head chef and then took us on a tour of the galley which was neat to see. While we were cruising this afternoon we were in an area usually has whales starting at this time of year but none had been seen as of yet by our ships naturalist. This was his and our lucky day as we spotted a couple pods. We didn't see any of them breach but it was fun to at least see their fins popping out of the water as well as the water spouts from their blow holes. We also received phone call saying that I was the winner of the Swarovski crystal drawing and that I could claim my prize at the jewelry store, it was a beautiful necklace. It was a very relaxing day with nice warm sunshine, a great end to a wonderful time in Alaska.
