We had not read the programme so were too late for breakfast in the Vista room so had to have it upstairs instead. They had changed the timing as it was departure for more than half the boat. As is often the way we had just started eating when Philip and Anna arrived so could join us.


We had thought of going ashore and posting some blog but still had the day in Tunisia to write so instead just checked emails before meeting Irene and Raewyn off their train . They were much longer getting through check in than we had been so their rooms were ready before they had finished lunch. We then sorted out excursions and were able to book them and get our tickets on the spot.


We watched the boat leave from our room then went up to the Crows Nest for ‘2 for 1’ drinks ordering 2 to get 4 rather then 4 and getting 8. The cocktail for the day was Kiwi Drop which seemed very appropriate. The others joined us and we all had about an hour listening to Zack (the guitarist) before we did a brief tour of decks 2, 3 and 9. We had a small delay getting our table for dinner but then had a lovely meal. We booked for the same time tomorrow because it is a formal evening
