We had breakfast and put all the luggage in the car before farewelling Margaret and Don. They told us there is a chance we might not see them when back in London depending on the timing of the birth of Jenny’s baby and whether Don is running a course so we did proper farewells in case.

The drive to Shrewsbury went smoothly . I blogged on the way and we stopped near the end for some lunch. We moved all our bags into the house and spent some time sorting out the clothes we will need for the next 2 weeks. We then started sorting out everything else, hoping to repack most bags during the day.

After a supermarket trip we were about to email Allan and Alison (the house owners who are in the USA) only to find an email from them with a free phone number to use. We had sorted out everything except the central heating so rang to check this with them before finishing the packing of the ‘not needed for the next 2 weeks’ stuff and then blobbed in front of TV.
