Nelson, South Island, New Zealand
We arrived safely in Auckland at 5am – 40 minutes early. The customs and immigration process was very smooth and we also picked up some duty free booze. The early arrival meant we had an extra long wait for our Nelson flight. The early morning weather was rather chilly however the weather when we arrived in Nelson was very pleasant indeed. Glen was their to meet us and all our bags arrived safe and sound.

Thank you to all who have looked after us so wonderfully well in our travells. We look forward to returning the hospitality in the future. We have also appreciated the many comments re our blog. We are sorry if it has been rather lengthy at times but hope it will remain as a great record for us of a wonderful trip.

Love to all – Chris and John

Hi there,
I cannot send you a message without logging into Facebook! I am
interested in using a photo of yours - Maldon Quay in Essex - for
the cover of a book I am printing for a friend who used to live on a
barge there. I now live in Nelson. Perhaps you would be kind
enough to email me so we can discuss it -- john@mellor.ws
