At home with the Windsors

Egham, England, United Kingdom
The final stop on this roadtrip. In one of the poshest of London's suburbs - Egham on the edge of Windsor Great Park and a few minutes from the castle. The hotel (the former home of somebody called Baron Schroeder) is in the middle of a very upmarket housing estate: Prince Edward (the Queen's youngest) lives next door and Mikhail Gorbachev and Elton John are just down the road. Not that you'd ever know (we heard about the neighbours from the hotel barman) - just a lot of high walls and fancy gates.

A fitting way to end a great trip!

So farewell from David, Sandra, Harvey & Noelene (and of course Will, Kate and all the children!)

What did you do with the queen and Prince? Were you asked to take their place?
You will have withdrawal symptoms now. Send Noelene and Harvey home for some TLC.

Adieu to you all. We will miss the blogs but it is time.

Loved the photo and of course the HATS!! I think the group looked wonderful!
I had replied to your email, but will reiterate here. I was shocked and amazed at Fatima - I imagined a dusty little village - such magnificence, must be a lucrative investment! So appreciated the vicarious journey that we all have experienced. See you all soon. love and God bless.
