That's a Wrap!

Toronto, Ontario, Canada
So, we made it home--a very long day, leaving our cottage in Hopkins at 8:30am and getting home in Toronto at 2:30 in the morning (capped off by there being no cabs at Toronto Pearson Airport --supposedly because of the weather, which was not that bad-- resulting in a 2-hour wait after we landed). All in all, though, a really great trip.

Off the top of my head, highlights were:
Snorkeling at Caye Caulker Marine Reserve
The ATM Cave Tour
Tikal Sunrise Tour
The beaches at Placencia & Hopkins
Garifuna drummers & drumming lesson in Hopkins
Meals at Cenaida's in San Ignacio, MoJo and Rumfish y Vino in Placencia and Tina's Kitchen in Hopkins.
... and of course all of the wonderful, welcoming people who made our stay so special.
Now, back to dealing with (very) cold reality, but hey, it's Christmas time, so everything is great again!

My husband and I leave at the end of this month heading to Belize! We enjoyed reading your travel blog! Thanks for sharing.
We arrive staying in San Ignacio, Hopkins, Ambergris Caye, and final third week ending on Caye Caulker.

Liked the blog and am headed down there in 15 days for a month's stay. Would you do Tikal again if you had it to do over?
