Hungover hike around hill

Ljubljana, Slovenia
Jason and I woke up early for free brekkie at hotel and then got ready to go out in the city.

We opted for an easy day of sightseeing and managed to cover all the main sights on Ljubljana in a just few hours, Ljubljana is a lovely place but small .
The castle on the hill was great, good views of the surrounding area, and a small peg train system to get up there.
Jason wasn't looking too perky (quite peaky in fact) and used the darkened room that was hosting the 3D virtual history film of Ljubljana, as an opportunity to catnap.

We then descended and walked around the old town and city centre in a clockwise spiral direction being proper tourists and photographing everything we went past.

We saw the dragon bridge, triple bridge, butchers bridge, market square, riverside, numerous town squares, St James church, the old town, town hall, university, skyscraper views and much more.
The place is really cute, picturesque and romantic but easily seen very quickly.

We had some mid-afternoon tea and a meal to keep our energy levels up and then tried to make it to the concert hall to see the orchestra play but missed this opportunity, so we headed back to the hotel for a rest and then back out for another night on the town.

The first few bars we went in were dead but we ended up back in the small local place we ended in on the previous night, with the usual crowd of locals.
