Deliriously debauched and drunken doldrums

Budapest, Hungary
After arriving back from our sojourn in the hills, we did the touristy bit in Budapest... visiting the National Exhibition Gallery to see a Gustav Klimt exhibition along with work from others of the Vienna Secessionists, a trend that would repeat itself a month later in Slovenia.

I had a tattoo done of Q'ian, the i-ching symbol for life force, power and creative energy, which is composed of two 'heaven' symbols, one over the other . Mara's friend Balazs inked the tattoo.

We went to large shopping districts, walked around the main sites, had wine on a very posh boat bar on the river and visited the fairytale picturesque Fisherman castle as well as the main building.

We also visited, you've guessed it, some bars and went partying at Mara's friends flat only to end up in a cross-city taxi ride at 8am nearer to Mara's house and into another bar with a huge pumpkin on the table where we proceeded to imbibe more shots of palinka.
